High Efficiency Rectifiers for Copper Electrolytic Refining

A critical stage in producing high-purity copper for conductors and components is electrolytic refining. What happens in copper electrolytic refining

In simple terms, blister copper (impure) is cast as anodes. Thin pure copper sheets serve as cathodes. When DC current runs through the cell, copper ions dissolve from the anode and deposit onto the cathode. This leaves impurities behind as anode slime. The resulting cathode copper can reach 99.99% purity.

Since the whole operation depends on stable DC, the rectifier’s performance matters a lot – for both quality and electricity bills.
